So I made it down to Key West at around 10:30 that night, found out that there were no rooms available at any of the hotels there, so I drove back up to Homestead and spent the night there. Next day I drove all the way back to Charleston. About 12 hours and 600 miles. It was a long day, but the trip was enjoyable anyway.
So now I'm back in school, and it is crazy. 12 hour days (0700-1900), lots and lots of work to get done. Crazy, crazy. I'll write more soon with some pictures hopefully.
